David Dane here...

Hello weight losing friends...

Today I stepped up onto the new magical mystical digital scale weighing in at 205-pounds. Well that is a good thing.

I think I wrote that I am doing something different. I am waiting 3 hours or more to eat in the morning. I used to write that we should eat to fire up our metabolism. Well I watched a video bu doctor Mercola. He said we don't produce a lot of insulin in the morning. He said we should wait until we have been awake for a while to eat. Well that is what I have been doing. These are the results. I also try to stop eating 3 hours before bedtime.

I cheated last night . I had two Oreo cookies  before I hit the hay. Bad boy....

Very interesting. I like Dr. Mercola; I'm subscribed to his free newsletter. He seems wise to me. He's been a guest on Dr. Oz's program too so he's not a quack. I may give this a try. I'm usually never hungry until I'm up at least 2 hours. I was never a breakfast eater; but the so called experts say we must eat when we first get up. And I listened to them. It made things worse for me. Now I don't eat until I get hungry. I figure the first meal of the day is 'breaking the fast' no matter when I eat it---even if it's noon and called lunch it's still "breaking the fast' i.e. breakfast.
