My Weight Jump For No Good Reasons

Hello weight losing fans...
(9671)
Today I stepped up onto the Magical-Mystical-Digital-Scale weighing in at 205.4-pounds.

That's up from yesterday. It was an unexpected jump in my weight. I only had a piece of bread, a pita bread slice, ham, and turkey with cheese, which was only about 400 calories.
And of course I drank some milk. I also had about five pieces of candy. Those were two Toosie Rolls, and three hard candies.

Yet, today my weight has jumped up. Go figure? I can't.

Bye for now...

Got Milk? My Video Defending Whole Milk For Your Diet

Hello weight losing fans...
(9626)
Today I stepped up onto the Magical-Mystical-Digital-Scale weighing in at 203.2-pounds.
That's down from yesterday.
It's still 23-pounds from where I want to be.

Well, to my surprise, I was able to finish up my video. It's not exactly what I wanted, but it will do.

I talked about how milk is now considered a pollutant by the Environmental Protection Agency.

I also talked about how almost miraculously my weight dropped after drinking milk at night. I am now drinking more milk throughout the day than I have ever before. I think it will help me lose weight, and keep it off.

Do watch my progress, and see if I am not right. If I am then maybe you'll want to try drinking milk for a meal. It may seem crazy; I know.
At the very least you might want to try to use it as an appetite suppressant when that hunger monster attacks; especially at night when trying to sleep.

Bye for now....

Got Milk? God's perfect food.

Hello weight losing fans...
(9609)
Today I stepped up onto the Magical-Mystical-Digital-Scale weighing in at 204.2-pounds.
That's down from yesterday.
It's down 3.8-pounds since I last posted a blog.

Got Milk?
I didn't make a video today because I have been thinking about how I want to talk about this subject of Milk. That's right, I want to talk about that white liquid that comes from dairy cows, and has been demonized by the ignorant food fascists.

The title of my blog today is Got Milk? God's Perfect Food.
The reason I am talking about this today is because I think milk has been demonized needlessly and it has made people avoid milk as a useful food for losing weight.

Over the years the "experts" have been saying that to control heart disease a person must control the amount of cholesterol in the blood. One of the ways to "control cholesterol" is to change the diet and consume foods that have less animal fats that are called "saturated fats."

As a result of the "low cholesterol craze" and the lose weight craze; people have been told to avoid fat. Well, Milk has suffered the same fate as other fats like beef fat, or chicken fat.

Well, It is my opinion the fat in milk is as harmless as the fat that is in sunflower seeds, or in corn oil. It's my opinion that milk fat is not an animal fat, but is in fact a plant fat made in the stomach of a cow.

When a cow gets pregnant, it like other mammals, begins to produce milk. Only this milk is made in a stomach that is completely different than that of other mammals. The cow consumes green vegetables such as hay, grass, alfalfa, clover, some types of corn, etc...
The cow produces so much milk that it actually makes more than the calf that gets birthed needs.

This milk is a product of vegetation. When a cow makes milk it mixes vegetation along with some stomach enzymes that the cow produces to help digest vegetables. The end product is Milk that comes out rich in milk fats, creams, and whey proteins.

If anyone has any sense, they will reason out milk is a vegetable product, not a meat or animal product. In my opinion it is the safest most valuable food that is available to consume.

Even God has a incredible belief that milk is good food. There are at least 24 versus in the bible that mention the Israelite s will go into a land flowing with "Milk and Honey."
Bible resources:
  1. Exodus 3:8
So I have come down to rescue them from the hand of the Egyptians and to bring them up out of that land into a good and spacious land, a land flowing with milk and honey—the home of the Canaanites, Hittites, Amorites, Perizzites, Hivites and Jebusites.
  2. Exodus 3:17
And I have promised to bring you up out of your misery in Egypt into the land of the Canaanites, Hittites, Amorites, Perizzites, Hivites and Jebusites—a land flowing with milk and honey.'
  3. Exodus 13:5
When the LORD brings you into the land of the Canaanites, Hittites, Amorites, Hivites and Jebusites—the land he swore to your forefathers to give you, a land flowing with milk and honey—you are to observe this ceremony in this month:
I have listed at least three examples where God has exclaimed that the land flows with milk and honey.
Doesn't it seem reasonable that God thought Milk was a good thing, a food that is rich in food value?

It is only with modern processing, and pasteurization that milk has been denigrated in its value.

Of course it's my opinion that Milk has been needlessly vilified as an undesirable food. Just look at how many people avoid Whole Milk because they are trying to avoid Milk Fat. It's the belief of far too many people in my opinion that there is anything unhealthy about drinking whole milk.

I defy the MORONS who want to tell me I should drink two percent milk. I defy the MORONS who don't have the ability to think and reason out the science behind the making of milk in a cow, or even a goat for that matter, since they both produce milk products that are used to make milk to drink, and cheese.

I defy the notion that cheese is unhealthy since cheese is a product of milk.

I drink milk when I get hungry. I have actually increased my milk intake. Yes, there are calories in Milk. Yes there is some fat in Whole Milk. But, I submit to you that it is a vegetable fat, not an animal fat.

It's been the unthinking and naive that have bought into the lie that Milk should be avoided.

My only exception to that is if someone is legitimately milk intolerant to lactose.

Again, I drink more milk these days than I ever have before. When I am hungry at night, and I can't sleep, I drink a tall glass of milk.

Let's just see what this does for me in the future...

Which Is More Healthy: A Small Bagel Or Chips?

Hello weight losing fans...
(9561)
Today I stepped up onto the Magical-Mystical-Digital-Scale weighing in at 206.8-pounds.
That's up from yesterday.

Today I continued talking about those "Heart Healthy" Snack Chips.
I compared the chips to a small bagel which was the same weight, but half of the calories.

I asked which makes more sense to eat as a snack? The bagel made with white flour, or the "whole grain chips?"

Are Those Corn Chips Really That Healthy?

Hello weight losing fans...
(9539)
Today I stepped up onto the Magical-Mystical-Digital-Scale weighing in at 206.2-pounds.

I am really surprised that I was able to download this video onto YOU TUBE. It's longer than the maximum of 12-15 minutes that's permitted for a video downloads. Maybe it stops at 15 minutes. This is a long video about the kind of advertising that is printed on a bag of snack chips.

Manufacturers will make the packaging beautiful to look at. They will tell you that it is healthy for you to eat this product. There is no proof of that, but it's printed on the package anyway.

Before I went into the talk about the Chips, I had a little diatribe about the length of my videos. Someone told me make them short because people won't watch them. Or, I won't get any return visits to my blog.

I said, "If you don't want to watch my video, click off the You Tube Button and go look at someone other blog. You don't have to watch me. Well, anyway watch this if you wish.

Just How Many Calories Are In That Big Scoop Of Rice Anyway?

Hello weight losing fans...
(9440)
Today I stepped up onto the Magical-Mystical-Digital-Scale weighing in at 207-pounds.
That's the same as yesterday.

I have a video today showing what I ate for breakfast on MONDAY, February 7, 2011.
I actually had two bowls of cereal. The first one I ate, and then I decided that I wanted to video the breakfast and post it.
Again this isn't my breakfast for today....

As I have stated before I eat regular food just like anyone else does. This was my breakfast a few days ago.

Food Portions; Cooked Versus Uncooked
Today I mentioned that my mom was buried one year ago today. I miss her so much.

Today I compared a 1/2 cup portion of dried uncooked rice to a two cup portion of cooked rice.
They were both the same calorie count of 465 calories.

They look so much different; cooked and uncooked. And when estimating food like this someone has to consider that food puffs up and gains volume when cooked in water because the food soaks up the water.

I Went To The Super Bowl... Well, I Passed By The Stadium

Hello weight losing fans...
(9423)
Today I stepped up onto the Magical-Mystical-Digital-Scale weighing in at 207-pounds.

That's down a bit. I changed yesterdays number by 0.4-pounds. I found I had mistyped the number.

I have been out of town. During the Chicago snow storm I was up in Wisconsin at my cousins. And then, on Friday I left to go to Dallas for the Super Bowl... Well, I drove my bus by the Super Bowl Stadium, and couldn't drop my people there.

Yes we had to drop them at six flags park, and they shuttled, or walked a mile to the stadium.

It was a mess for the packers fans that paid over a thousand dollars to go to the super bowl, and then found they were treated like second class citizens. That wasn't my problem.

I didn't see the game. I listened to it on the radio.

I didn't make any video's of myself in the hotel. I did video one of my breakfasts. I was eating in the morning the Continental Breakfast. It was all carbohydrates. Then for Dinner, I was eating fast food....

Needless to say I didn't make any weigh loss progress.... YIKES.

I did take with me the Magical-Mystical-Digital-Scale. I did keep a record of my weight each day.
I kept up my log book of food consumed. I had a hard time calculating the total calories because I forgot my calorie count book.
