David Dane here...

Hello Weight Losing Fans...

Today I stepped up onto the New Magical Mystical Digital Scale weighing in at 217.4-Pounds.

That's right...

I didn't eat breakfast this morning before I left. I am so hungry right now. But, I wanted to post this, and see some other stuff on the computer. So I skipped breakfast and headed out.

Now I'll bet you all think I am just sitting around eating cupcakes, and donuts, and big spaghetti dinners. Well, I am not... Yesterday in the morning I had a fist full of peanuts, and coffee with Stevia.
Later in the day I came home and had a can of beets, and some milk. I went to a friends house late last night and had a little bit of popcorn. That was it. Now look. I am at 217 or so pounds.

I don't have any more answer for what's going on. It's baffling me... Someone posted a comment that I should exercise...   Really? What is that going to do? Oh it burns calories. Yeah, and increases the appetite. Then it become a viscous circle. Exercise is for conditioning and toning anyway.

I did plenty of exercise the day before all day long helping my brother move out of his second home that he's lost. I could be like him (he's my twin) and be so skinny that it's ugly. I think he is up to something.

I would love to get down. But, ya know what? I am not going to kill myself... so there.. !

You are right about the exercise not helping with weight loss. It helps the muscles and promotes overall general health, but a person can never burn enough calories for it to make a difference weight loss wise. I've had more than one doctor tell me that as well as my own personal observation and reading it in mutliple articles.

I've been where you are and it's hard when you stall. It's only a guess but I'd say your long hours at work with the stress and lack of sleep or your sleep pattern has some impact. And there's not much you can do about that. Jobs are scarce these days.
