My Weights Back Down...

Hello Weight Losing Fans...

Today I stepped up onto the New Magical Mystical Digital Scale weighing in at 212.2-Pounds.

That's good news... Well, sort-of, it is.

Just remember my objective has been to be beyond this point by now. And, you may be wondering why I lost so quickly. As I reported to you, I had eaten a very large amount of chicken the other day.

Then the day after that I had a late meal. So the weight has been hanging on only because the insides needed to dump unwanted materials there.

Also, I did do a one day fast just so I could clean everything out, and start all over... No harm done in doing that. I drank my usual coffee for breakfast, drank a lot of water, and at night drank a little bit of tomato juice before bed time.

So there you have it.

I was listening to this program a little while ago where the host was making sugar out to be a villain, and he was saying we should tax sugar or make it illegal. I thought, this guy can't be serious.
He is a doctor, (who's name escaped my memory) and he thinks he is so smart.

Folks: Sugar isn't the enemy. It's "Too Much Sugar" that's the enemy.  Even white sugar isn't the enemy. It's too much white sugar that's the enemy.

Over and over again I have stressed it's the total calories consumed that gets all of us into trouble.
Yes, it matters if we eat too much sugar. That's because white sugar has only a small value nutritionally compared to some other forms of carbohydrates.

I rail against soda pop only because every 12 ounces consumed is around 150 calories. That's a lot of calories if you are someone trying to stay on a steady low calorie diet for any length of time.

Honestly, I eat some sugar. I just try to limit the amount of sugar. For example, I was eating butter scotch hard candy yesterday. I must have had about 8 pieces.

And, here today I am at 212.2-Pounds.

So, it's not the sugar that is the enemy... It's how much sugar, that gives us the problems.

Just remember, I am not a Doctor. I am only writing from my perspective and personal experience. If you need to consult a doctor, then be wise and do so.

That's all for now...

That's the way it is... I'm David Dane
