I'll Take It... Day Five Under 212-Pounds

Hello Weight Losing Fans...

Today I stepped up onto the New Magical Mystical Digital Scale weighing in at 211.4-Pounds.
I'll Take it.

Just remember yesterday I had a large lunch. Then I went home and had two beers. Oh the shame and the hypocrisy. That's not a bad weight after all of that.
I have written many times before it takes a little bit more than just one day of over eating to gain weight.

My sister sent me a care package for Christmas. In it she put a battery operated parakeet that sings, and moves its head and tail. Along with that cute little item she packed in two boxes of liquid filled chocolates,  and a large orange chocolate that's about 3 inches around. Then she put in Christmas chocolate peppermint candies. Along with that she send me four bags of cough drops.

Oh my evil sister. She knows I am trying to lose weight.

It's going to be a challenge to just eat one or two of those candies a day. I might make it to January, or I'll just chow down. This will test my will.

I still have many of the cough drops she send me from the last care package.

This morning I didn't go to work. It's  my day off finally.
I made up five scrambled eggs along with four tablespoons of sour cream stirred in. I topped the eggs off with all-spice, and ketchup. Then I made up a drink with two scoops of protein in water, and drank that down. I took eight HCL Betain capsules along with that to help me digest the mix. I also just ate two small lolly pops my sister sent in a bag...

A lot of people out there may be wondering why I eat so many eggs. They are a great source of protein. I have been experimenting with something I heard on the Doctor Bob Marshal radio show.
He claims that the body doesn't produce enough insulin in the morning as we wake up and begin the day. He says if you're going to eat carbohydrates, then wait until later in the day. (Yep for you donut eaters that means you nix that chocolate donut in the morning.... Sorry....)

Doctor Bob Marshal claims if you will save eating the carbohydrates until past noon time or later the body is better prepared to produce insulin and help digest the sugar in the blood stream.
What I have been doing lately is just eating proteins in the morning. In this case eggs and protein powders, then I wait until later in the day to eat the carbohydrates.

Since I started with this approach, it seems to have helped me. I eat my proteins in the morning and then eat my starches or carbohydrates later in the day. You can see the results. I am down to 210 or so pounds.

I don't know if this approach will help you. Maybe you can try it. Eat your eggs, chicken, beef, or proteins in the morning. Skip the bread and sugar, along with the oat meals, or cereals. Switch those until past noon time.

According to Doctor Bob Marshal, if you are going to insist on eating that stuff, then at least wait until later in the day.

See if this helps.

I am just absolutely surprised. Yesterday I had over 115 viewers of my blog. So far today there are over 55 viewers of this blog. Maybe Oprah Winfrey is looking in just to find some words of wisdom...

I suspect it's actually advertisers and people who are looking to post something in the comment box who are doing most of the looking. You won't believe how many advertisements I have to delete before they get into the comments...

Shucks... No one really cares about the fat man who is losing weight... Buah, ha, ha....

Hey, honestly, I'm not doing this for anybody but myself.

That's the way it is... I'm David Dane

I may try this approach to lose 2 pounds that I gained awhile back and am having a hard time losing--this 2 pounds is hanging on. It can't hurt and may be just the thing. Waiting until afternoon to eat carbs would not be a problem for me at all. You'd think it would be easy to lose two pounds. I haven't given up on it, because from past experience I know that 2 pounds easily becomes 20. Congrats on your current success.
