Today I stepped up onto the New Magical Mystical Digital Scale weighing in at 219.8-Pounds.
Ooooh, that's just under the 220-Pounds.
Tomorrow will be better... I just ate a sandwich made with peanut butter and jelly, on wheat bread. Then I ate down 4 tangerines. Tangerines are like my candy. They are sweet and juicy and I eat them just about every day. ...

I check blogs from time to time when there are no new posts for a long time. I missed your comeback. I don't post much on my blog any more, preferring to read what others write instead.
I've managed to keep my 30 pound loss 'off' for a couple of years now, but it requires constant vigilance.
I had a little setback when my mother died last year (I remember when you lost your mom--it's really hard I know).
You used to say 'eat less food".
Making a practice of eating less food is a great habit. I for one, was consuming way too much food. It is easy to do when it is so abundant and easily available.
Our inner child wants treats and demands them. We have to be the grown up that says 'no' to our inner child and that is not always easy to do. If we do it more often than not we'll make progress in the long term. We just have to keep moving forward to recover the ground we lose when we fail to deny ourselves.
As with small children, sometimes diversion works when we find it hard to deny ourselves. Or replacing one treat with another, maybe a non-food treat.
